![]() At first I had opted to get a regular manicure, but was somehow switchy-changy fooled into getting another gelish/shellac manicure. I was in the neighborhood today and needed a old gelish/shellac manicure removed. ![]() Ok ladies (and gentlemen) do yourself a favor and DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON. Just be a good client and communicate more about what you want and then they can give you what you want. I find that My (my nail tech) she had customers who have gone to her for years, that says something about her, plus she really cares about you, speaks perfect English etc. I love the great quality and sanitary ness of diamond nails. There are a lot of ways to do a pedicure so if you want something special ask ask ask. I get tired of people blaming the professional for doing something wrong when its par tly your responsibility to tell them what you want or expect from them. If you are getting a manicure, tell them I want a rounded nail manicure or whatever. and Third tell your nail tech what you want. Yes its their job to do a good job and to sell you on other services but if you don't want it done don't get it done. Also Don't come on here and complain about getting gel polish when you didn't really want it and blame a nail tech. Let me give all you nail goers a few tips, first if you want a leg massage tell the tech before you start.many clients just go in for a good pedicure and a massage is just a perk. I my self am a nail tech and Master Esthetician and so I feel like I can judge a good quality job. I have had full sets of acrylic nails that after 6 weeks with no fills weren't lifting at all. It isn't the prettiest shop, but I'm not paying for the decorations. I think you have to really choose a nail tech and not judge the whole place. Man I can't be more pleased with my Nail Tech. The place is also filthy, especially where they do the waxing. She shortened the lenght of one of my eyebrows.they looked terrible. ![]() Then ( and this is partly my fault for even asking) I asked to have my eyebrows waxed which she did.I would have been better off having my toddler doing them. ![]() The woman in charge or owner (she is the woman with a short hair cut) either doesn’t know how to do a pedicure or is just lazy and trying to get away with the bare minimum. But the last time I was there, a couple of months ago, the sister was gone. She was friendly and could do a pedicure or manicure reasonably well. It used to be decent when the sister of the woman in charge (or owner.not sure) was there. Usually because I can’t get in anywhere else and I am short on time to wait. I have been to this place maybe 10 times in the last 5 or so years. The worst salon I have been to in Salt Lake. ![]()
